The disadvantages of grapes "Aleshenkin" is the low resistance of the lower part of the plant to frost. Therefore, it is grafted to more stable stocks. The ground part of the grape is able to withstand a temperature drop to -26 degrees.

Important! Grapes suitable for transportation over long distances.

Yield indicators

"Aleshenkin" refers to varieties of high yield. The term of its fruiting is 6 years. As practice shows, sweet berries are harvested from the bush for 20 years.

Then the fruiting of the grapes is sharply reduced, and the plant is removed from the site. The following planting of grapes produced no earlier than 3 years. During this period, the soil is restored.

If it is possible to completely replace the soil, it is allowed to plant the grapes in a year.

Planting and care

The Aleshenkin grape variety requires compliance with certain rules of care. After planting, the plant needs to be watered, pruned and treated for diseases and pests.

Choosing a landing site

For planting grapes choose bright and warm places. “Aleshenkin” is unpretentious to the ground and location on the site, however, following simple rules will help to increase the yield and taste of berries.

To grow grapes, soil preparation is carried out in the fall or spring. Preliminary need to analyze the soil. With increased clay content, additional drainage is required.

If the vineyard is broken on peat soil, then before planting you need to add sand. Sandy soil fertilized with humus or compost.

Tip! It is better to abandon the planting varieties in the salt marshes or marshland. Otherwise, the vine will die.

Two weeks before the landing, the soil is dug up to enrich it with oxygen. The place is chosen on the south or southwest side. For better soil heating, it is recommended to plant grapes near the wall of the house. In the spring, snow falls faster from the south side, and in the fall, soil freezing begins.

Aleshenkin variety grapes do not need to be planted between shrubs or trees that create shade for it.

The variety is suitable for growing in film greenhouses. Grapes need access to the sun's rays, while excess moisture and shade are detrimental to it.

Landing rules

Planting and care for grapes begin in spring. During the summer and autumn, the plant will harden and be able to survive the winter.

Important! If the variety is planted in rows, then at least 2.5 m is left between them. 1.2 m and more are left between the bushes.

In the autumn, the ground needs to be dug up and prepared a pit 0.7 m wide and 0.8 m deep. At a close location to the surface of the groundwater, it is necessary to arrange a drainage. Its function will perform a layer of crushed stone 3 cm thick.

In the spring preparing dressing for seedlings. It is produced by mixing in equal proportions of soil, river sand and humus. Then add nitrophosphate and superphosphate in the amount of 50 g to the mixture. Before planting, pour a bucket of warm water into the pit.

If the grape stalk is located in a container, then you can immediately plant it on the prepared place. If the plant is placed in a plastic bag, then the stem is dipped in zircon solution. This is a natural remedy that stimulates root growth. 10 ml of water requires 1 ml of the drug.

The seedling is placed on the bottom of the pit, and buried in half, after which it is poured with water and poured the top layer of earth. The grapes are covered with plastic wrap, in which a hole is cut for the seedling. Remove the material is necessary in late summer.

Spring and summer care

After planting, watering the vineyard is done every two weeks. Each plant requires 4 buckets of water. With an excess of moisture, watering is stopped to avoid rotting of the roots.

In the spring, a shelter is removed from the vineyard and the damaged and old branches are removed. Vine tied to the trellis.

Until the buds have blossomed, you need to complete the feeding of the vineyard. The grade well absorbs liquid fertilizers: solution of a mullein, superphosphate, ashes.

In the summer, you need to pinch the vine at a height of 1.7 m. If the inflorescences were in the shadow because of the leaves, then they need to be eliminated.

With a lack of pollination observed grape pea, when the berries become very small. Therefore, the variety is additionally treated with growth promoters.

Tip! The last dressing of the variety is done in June. Its composition includes nitrophoska, ashes and superphosphate.

In the future, grapes "Aleshenkin" does not require additional feeding. After rains, the soil is loosened. Watering is resumed in October to prepare the variety for wintering.

Forming a bush

Due to the formation of a bush, its productivity is increased, and branches that no longer bring berries are eliminated. The Aleshenkin variety is cut in the fall, its sleeves are laid in a trench and covered from the cold.

When pruning on a branch, up to 16 buds are left. When forming young plants, 4 shoots should be left on the branch, which in spring are tied up to a wire.

On the branches from which the crop was harvested last year, leave 3 buds. If all the buds wake up in the spring, then only the lower one is left. A feature of the variety "Aleshenkin" is the presence of inflorescence on the lower bud.

Tip! Each bush should contain about 40 eyes.

The budding of the Aleshenkin variety buds takes place every year; however, only one inflorescence is left for the grapes to grow on large grapes.

Over time, the sleeves thicken, so they are difficult to lay for the winter. Therefore, it is recommended to form new sleeves, and old ones to cut. For even ripening of grapes, it is necessary to cut off the upper parts of the brush.

Prevention of diseases and pests

The variety "Aleshenkin" requires preventive treatment from diseases and attacks of pests.

To prevent fungal diseases, spraying of bushes with lime and growth stimulants is performed. The variety has a low resistance to oidium, so you need to treat the plant with Topaz. Ridomil Gold is used to protect the grapes from mildew.

Tip! Processing grapes drugs is carried out by spraying.

Aleshenkin is attacked by a spider mite. It is a representative of arachnids, which lives on the underside of the leaves of grapes and feeds on their juices. Processing of the tick variety is done in autumn or early spring. Phosphamide or nitrafen is used for this.

The root system of grapes eats marble Khrushchev. Get rid of the pest by introducing into the soil hexachlorane.

Egor, 55 years old, Ussuriysk “Aleshenkin” is a good variety, it attracts with high yield and tasty berries. Its main disadvantage is large clusters. First, the upper berries ripen, while the lower ones remain unripe. Inside the berries often rot, if not remove them on time. For two shoots leave one brush. Then the ripening of the entire vine is guaranteed. With increased load the vine does not have time to ripen, and the bush may die.

Alexander, 65 years old, Zelenograd. I have grown Aleshenkin at a dacha for 10 years. The vineyard tolerates winter, does not freeze. In the autumn I cover him with spruce branches and plastic wrap. Variety gives a stable crop. If during the flowering weather was rainy and cold, then there is a polka. By August 20, the grapes are ripening. Saplings need 3 years to take root and grow the vine. After taking the harvest can get sick, so be sure to treat "Ridomil".

Anna, 48 years old, Belgorod. I have been growing Aleshenkin grapes for 20 years. This is the first vineyard, which appeared on my site. The variety prefers short pruning, so they leave 3-4 eyes. Ripening begins in late July, the berries taste sweet. Be sure to spend the rationing of grapes before and after flowering, so as not to overload the vine. I eliminate the extra wings and cut too long brushes.

"Aleshenkin" is an unpretentious variety that can withstand the winter frosts. For his planting vine growers choose a sunny place next to the wall of the house or in the greenhouse. The plant requires constant care in the form of watering and the formation of bushes. Due to the average resistance to diseases and pests, preventive processing of grapes is necessarily performed.
